Walking

Leave the car at Cemaes House and go for a stroll along the fabulous walks right on our door step. The below map shows just a selection of the walks available right from Cemaes Bay (5 mins walk from the house),

Golfing

Bull Bay Golf Club, is the most northerly course in Wales - the host country for the 2010 Ryder Cup. A Celtic nation steeped in history, proud of its culture, renowned for its scenic beauty and blessed with some of the best golf in the British Isles.

Few can rival the spectacular setting of the 18 hole championship course at Bull Bay, laid out above the rugged coastline on the beautiful holiday island of Anglesey, with panoramic views of the mountains of Snowdonia and over the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man and the distant hills of the Lake District.

Holyhead Golf Club, located on the stunningly beautiful Isle of Anglesey, Holyhead Golf Club offers some of the best golf to be had in Wales.

Enjoying fantastic views towards the mountains of Snowdonia and situated only 1 mile from the port of Holyhead, gateway to Ireland, the course is a challenging heathland 18 hole championship course with some of the best greens to be found anywhere.

You will always find a warm and friendly welcome at the clubhouse which offers the choice of tasty bar-meals or an a la carte menu for those special occasions.

When it comes to golf, we are the jewel in the crown of Wales.

The Storws Wen Golf Club was built in 1996 and founded by Ken Jones and Eleri Wyn Jones. They were also both the first Captains of the golf club. The golf club has improved immensely over the years and has gone from strength to strength, as it will continue to do so in the future under the new owners Mr and Mrs Cartwright and their new management team.
